To my knowledge, neither the Hairstons, nor the Alous ever did it, but those are great guesses.
The Uptons actually did it twice in the same month: April 6, 2013, and April 23, 2013, and were the most recent to do it before the Naylors. So there are 4 other pairs of brothers to name. |

Billy Ripken and his brother, whose name I forget.

I heard he had a brother. Did they play together?
![]() ![]() I was going to guess Ozzie and Jose till I looked and Ozzie never hit one out of the park. |

Correct! Billy and Cal Ripken Jr. also did it twice, Sept. 15, 1990, and May 28, 1996.
Of the remaining 3 sets of brothers, there 4 HOFers in total. Last edited by cgjackson222; 01-02-2024 at 01:52 PM. |

Rick & Wes Ferrell?
Paul & Lloyd Waner? Ken & Clete Boyer in a WS game?

The Boyer guess was a great one. In Ken’s first World Series, both he and his brother Clete (playing in his 5th Series with the Yankees) homered in the seventh game, the only time in World Series history that brothers have homered in the same game, as the Cardinals prevailed. But it was not in the same inning to my knowledge. One more pair remains, and one of the brothers is the most famous of all. Last edited by cgjackson222; 01-02-2024 at 04:06 PM. |

Based on your hint above, I'm guessing Hank and Tommie Aaron.

Ding Ding Ding! One of Tommie Aaron's 13 career Home Runs occurred in the same inning as one of Hank's 755 on July 12, 1962.
Great job everybody! Last edited by cgjackson222; 01-02-2024 at 04:51 PM. |
