My goals are the same as 5-10-20+ years ago...a slew of "who that?" mostly commons (and a few stars) that don't come around too much at a reasonable price.
Thankfully my $$ needs are down to a 1800s Cap Anson and King Kelly (in Chicago uniform). I'm not a hurry in the current market, but if I end up finding the right one or the right price then hurrah. If I wanted to throw money at everything I want or accept card conditions I'm not a fan of, I could shave off most of the rather modest list right now. I'm not a hurry to complete anything, though. I'd just find some other collection to build and I've spent so long with my main graded Cubs collection that I still enjoy the hunt even if pickings are thin.
