Without any baseball equipment there is a leap of faith. I almost never buy tintypes that don't have baseball accessories in them. Too many train conductors etc...that looked like baseball.

Pricing depends on a lot of factors but I would guess the one you picture could be worth around 100-150. It might go for a lot more if a few people really like it. These can be difficult to value. I have overpaid for a couple of mine because I really like them. I hope you get it or other early images for your collection.

Thank you both for the feedback. Seller claimed to have others but they are not Baseball related. And the $500 asking price is outrageous.
