I should have qualified it....Stengel hit the 1st HR in the World Series at Yankee Stadium batting for the Giants.

I wish I had visited with Ted and Charlotte one more time... He and I had multiple common interests beyond ball cards. Ted was an intelligent, soft spoken gentleman.

In the spirit of collecting, and in celebration of (most of, if not all) of our images coming back to the site, Leon providing immaculate service/updates, and to honor quite possibly one of, if not THE most influential poster on our beloved board, I wanted to share my lone piece of T206 History and bump this thread.

A notoriously underrated Hall of Famer, one of the best to ever do it and member of the famous "$100,000" infield... Eddie Collins. Though I think I certainly need to update my scan of his card. Lets raise a glass to Leon, Ted Z, all of our incredible board members, more Tobacco cards entering our collections and many prosperous years ahead of us.
