I think Bochy is headed for the Hall, especially after this championship.
The Pudres have an owner willing to shovel out the dough, but a GM that doesn't seem to understand that he needs to let a good manager do what they have to do. It was good to see Bob Melvin leave so that he can get his chance to show it wasn't him that was totally responsible for this years mess. To me, it doesn't matter what teams are playing, I still like to watch. This year was nice because of the non-player personnel involved in this WS. It was good to see Texas grab the title. It was nice to not have to watch the ghost runner's in game 1. At least there was that!

Living near Arlington, sort of, I was glad the Rangers broke their WS streak of 0. I watched some of the innings in a few of the games, especially game 5.

I wouldn't worry too much about Win-Loss %.
Who would you rather have managing your team? Career .499 manager named Bochy or a .630 manager named Roberts? Bochy is a much better manager who has done far more with less talented teams than Roberts has had the good fortune to manage. |

As a Vikings / Wild fan it's fun to see a first time team win it all. There's still hope for us (at least I hope)
