Suppose you were magically transported back in time to this game and watched it from the stands. Do you think you would be more struck by what was different back then, or what was the same as now?

I think the pure beauty of the sport would shine through no matter the era.

Plus the chance to get a Wagner and Young auto on a dated ball would be pretty cool too.

I think what would strike me most would be just recognizing all the players' faces. Like, whoa, that player looks exactly like the T207 Dots Miller guy. And look over there, that one's a dead ringer for a T206 Tommy Leach portrait.

Here is an E98 of "Cy" Young who actually won 448 games less than the real, 'I was so good I had an award named after me' pitcher.

I don't think I knew he ended with the Braves until I got this card many years ago.....
