No delay, I get the card a couple days after I pay & I can determine if the card is legit.
I also deal w/ many repeat sellers w/ ample feedback, so I've never had a problem.

Granted when I sell a card in excess of $250, I must send it to PSA for verification before the buyer receives it.
I mean why would ebay exclude buyers with PO Boxes.

Reason I was giving is because what shipping service the seller uses—> eBay AG continues that same service to the buyer after inspection. If a seller uses fedex they can’t add a usps number to it for a P.O. Box. But he said soon they will be able too.

How many ebay sellers use fed ex? Tiny percentage in my experience.

At a certain value, Ebay/PSA/CSA use fedex to ship the cards after they've been "autheniticated."

What is the value? I just had a 4+ K card come by USPS. The overwhelming majority of cards I imagine sold on ebay over 200 are less than that.

Has nothing to do with the seller's method of shipping. The seller is not shipping to the buyer. PSA has a huge discount for volume with Fed Ex as well as lower insurance rates if using Fed Ex and Fed Ex does not do traditional Post Office Boxes.

Had a long fire side chat with eBay and this was their reasoning. If a seller uses fedex, dhl, ups ect first they can’t authenticate it and send it to a P.O. Box. after. They have to use the same service the seller started with.

Trust me I want to go back to my P.O. Box because my local post doesn’t do signature half the time and will leave expensive cards in my mail box. I’d rather have it sit at the post than in my mail box.

When it first started, I was okay with it, but thought they should allow the buyer to opt out. After trying it a few times, I kind of like the program. The delivery time was still fast, and the card comes in a little presentation box like a Seiko. One time they even included a personalized note that said something to the effect of, "excellent choice, you have great taste."

OK That makes sense
But I buy a bunch of stuff on ebay like supplies & right before I pay, it states they don't ship to a PO Box, so I click the option that has my street address.
Why doesn't this ebay program give you the same option?

Not sure but hopefully they will allow P.O. Boxes soon! I will go right back and get one. You don’t need a large box, if it’s small they will just put a pick up slip in it. I also asked if they could have a memo allowing us to state we still want the item if it has a scratch on the slab or is raw and over graded by the seller. Imagine buying a super rare card just to have it returned because the seller said it was NM and it was VG. A few times AG returned the item I really wanted. I’ll take the item regardless of condition as long as it was original.
