Pretty much agree that it would be overlooked and likely annoying to see it used as a sales method.

It also would be more than likely ignored as inconsequential by the graders and I could see a couple getting out of order in the process. That would be one tremendously expensive trial run to sub an entire set.

In addition the chance of every single card coming back with the grade wanted and zero rejections for minimum size or any other reason in a reasonably large set would be fairly low odds. The one rejection or wanting to upgrade any card and the whole plan is kaput.

I think we're all ignoring a certain collecting niche that would go absolutely bonkers and pay a huuuuuuuge premium for a graded set that is sequentially numbered...the OCD fellahs!!!!

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.

In movies kidnappers always demand ransom money to be in non-sequential bills, so I imagine that within certain cardnapper circles sequential numbering would be considered a negative.

Back when SGC would use one submission form and assign a number to each card, it was interesting when I’d buy cards that had the same sub#, especially when I got them at different times from different sellers. Not enough to pay anything for though
