I never get tired of seeing that card, Leon. Such a beauty. My favorite tends to change from month to month, but I'll go with the Big Train today.

I don't really have one card I can say is a clearcut favorite, odd as that is. I suppose the closest I can get is this one:

My attachment to each of my cards is more or less inversely proportional to its population, so my favorite cards are the unique ones, such as the Cafe du Monde Glazner (perhaps especially that one).

Aesthetically, I feel pretty strongly that the T227 Baker is the best card I own and the best card I've seen.

On vacation so no pictures. My favorite pre-war cards are the T210 Ft Worth cards. A nice T206 Red Cobb is second with the T212 Obak Weed cards next in line. Still need the Spokane Weed.

Nice cards, gang. Here are some random favorites today. I do not own the last image. It is McAleer from the Just So poster that was found a few years ago. I have the cabinet photo that was used for his Just So card, which is nice.

Beautiful card! I was the underbidder on one a few years ago and had a feeling then that I'd regret leaving it behind, and I do.

Not rare, but he's my favorite pre-war Cub and this was the specific card I wanted for him in my collection.

He started his Cubs career at age 27, but he managed to set a number of team records and is top-10 in many more.

Cubs wins, the only one with 200 wins (201).

Games played, the only one with more than 500 games played...or 600 played (605).

Innings pitched, #1 and only one of 2 with more than 3000 IP (3137.1).

He was a starter, a closer, middle relief, mop-up...you name it over 16 seasons with the Cubs.

He wasn't great, and he wasn't awful. He was consistently good with a 3.55 ERA and 1.29 WHIP.

16 seasons as a Cub and he brute forced himself into many team records and the team HOF. Salute.

Hiroshi Oshita, who as a big slugger in the 1940s and 50s. I like this card, since it's sort of the Japanese version of a Delong.

I don't know if others do it too, but when I am not feeling it, sometimes I will look at certain cards and they make me smile again.
And the only purple e221 known. It came from an old scrapbook around 25 yrs ago. It was an amazing scrapbook.

21 Exhibit Speaker is the first pre-war card I can remember buying.

I love Wheaties, I think they just stand out on a display shelf.

Turkey Red Speaker was and still is one of my grail cards. Had to sell some lesser Speakers (T206 and T205) to acquire it from another Net54 member.

T202 Speaker / Wood arrived in a trade; although it's stained I really like it.

21 Exhibit Cobb was an early pandemic purchase. I took the advice of everyone on this site, find the best condition card for the least amount. Very happy I did.

For me, my favs:
of course is the 51 & 52 Mick, but they are locked away
along with the Leaf Paige
I do look at the Green Cobb at some times.

But my focus is on the 1916-20 Unc Big heads, as i still trying to accomplish the feat. since i started in 2015 with the first one. (as noted in my signature below)

Gotta have a pic,

Babe Ruth and Jackie Robinson will transcend baseball in the centuries ahead, giving their cards lasting value and appreciation. These are my two favorites pre and post war, from 1933 Goudey and 1952 Topps, which further drives the significance of these cards as some of most iconic sets ever produced.

Some very nice stuff here everyone. Everything in my PC is my favorite. I’m certain days it changes. Today I’m still flying high from yesterdays pick up. Even being an “A” it fits my budget being a low grade collector! This is not my most expensive but it makes me happy.

Yes, the Ruth pose exhibit is very nice. Is classic and oozes vintage. I much prefer it over some of his other Exhibit's. I notice SGC labels it 1927-29, I always thought 1926-29.

Favorite - love the T206 Cobb green. With good registration, vivid color and great centering sure looks nice. REA just had a PSA 5.5 end 33,600. w/bp (poor centering t/b) and Heritage had a 5 end (with really nice centering) 44,400 w/bp.

Halla is easily my favorite (as many know), with the E95 Merkle being my second.

Salute.
I love Root and I love Tattoo Orbit. Great card.

The '34 Lou Gehrig has always been one of my favorite cards. I don't own one but believe it is one of the classier cards in appearance.
