I use this place as well. I think the coverage can vary by the type of policy you have. I mainly got CIS for the shipment protection and almost secondary was the coverage against fire and theft.

Ugh...so so sorry you're dealing with this. I'm still reeling over a bat that UPS "lost" for me last year, so I know the feeling.

I hope your items turn up and make their way back to you.

Ups,usps there stealing mail left and right. Never send a birthday card because it probably won't get to where it's going

Yeah, #1 is to not use FEDEX for collectibles unless you insure separately. But it looks like you've already learned that.
