So now the sender is claiming I stole the card and is demanding I send him a money order for $1,60
Of course I told him to pound sand. He's got a half dozen negative reviews all about his rude attitude. |

I had a similar, but much more extreme, example of this occur at work a few years back. We sent paper invites to an event. Time went by, we went to a paperless system, and the day of the paper invite had come and gone. It got to the point where we didn't think about those invites (it was for an annual event) very often....until one came back, marked, "Return to sender."
Four years later.

The other day, I found a small Amazon package laying in the hallway of my apartment building. It was addressed to someone who lived 20 minutes away!
I put the package in my car and stumbled upon an Amazon driver yesterday. Gave them the package and they said some driver probably dumped it to get off of work early. Does anyone do their job correctly anymore? |

Jim: no.
I had a Bobby Orr 2nd year card go missing, allegedly delivered. Six months later it showed up. Apparently, it was dropped at a neighbor's, the neighbor turned it in for redelivery, and it took six months to make it to me, all entirely out of the system. Regardless, i was pleased to get it. My biggest scare was a T206 Young that went missing in registered mail. The driver assigned to the route, a probie, didn't bother to turn in his registered items at the end of the day, he just left them on the truck for delivery whenever he got around to it. That was a harrowing couple of days. The driver was never seen again. I think they executed him for violating the sanctity of Registered Mail.

And that is pretty amazingly petty for a 1.60 card, lol.

Now he thinks I should pay again. Truthfully I would have sent the card back to him as I didn't need it any more, but he was such a d-bag about it so I won't |
