Agree.... so many interesting and artistic styles from the early days/deadball era.

The 1916 NY Giants Plaid Uniform is one of my favorites, as is this 1908 Red Sox version with the giant red sock. Both only lasted one season however, as the Red Sox reverted back to the plain and no-frills "BOSTON" across the chest in 1909 (link below...)
