Wow, not much gets by this board.
For clarification - is my understanding correct? This is the fourth time GMCARDS has tried to sell this card? The previous links don't work so perhaps a screen shot of this latest one would be something to post (in case there's a fifth time). Now for the stupid comment - Maybe there's a GMCARDS vault and the sellers keep it with GMCARDS and the latest seller is pulling it from the vault to make a few bucks. HEY - it's a joke! What's the speculation here? GMCARDS sold the card 3x and it's been returned 3x and now it's going up for grabs a fourth time in an effort to make a few dollars (and potentially screw up a good reputation)? It's difficult to rationalize this. Edited to add - a first tiime poster outs this? I'm guessing it's a second ID for a board member. Why not just use your N54 user ID.

I do not get why Greg Morris is so dedicated to selling this card without any disclosures. It's dishonest, at absolute best. There is absolutely no way they don't know what they are doing by now. It's a little funny, his commission will be what, a few bucks on the sale if a buyer eventually doesn't return it because it's altered? I guess it doesn't matter, because most will jump to defend them because our hobby expects money and has little but distaste for honesty or disclosure.

Morris got only $86 on their fourth attempt to sell this card without disclosure. Maybe this buyer will keep it. Maybe GM will try to pass it off a fifth time and dupe another sucker in a few months.

Someone could easily stir up a hornets here by saying "if someone soaked the card, they could clean up the back so the erasure isn't noticed", but that would only incite a board riot.
![]() Look at the flip side of this, at least the item description doesn't indicate "1911 T205 Gold Border Set-Break Dick Hoblitzell Cycle VG-VGEX (crease) - NO STATS" Edited to add - but I get the point, a disclosure of the card being altered to remove the stats should probably be provided. Kind of like the "nodgrass" T206 being sold in a PSA holder that indicates it's a Snodgrass card but should probably be in an ALTERED holder because the "S" was erased. Second edit to add the link to the "nograss" thread: https://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=343446
