A couple of the early 70s Yankee teams were pretty good but no HOFers I don't think.

Yanks never won in the early 70s, but did in '77 and '78 with Reggie Jackson and Catfish Hunter. They had Gossage in '78, but not '77.

Not to mention the borderline guys like Nettles, Randolph, Munson and Guidry.

1970 team won 93 games, that's not bad.
