I would have liked to see Scherzer (assuming he doesn't utilize his no-trade clause) and Peterson compete the remainder of the season to see if they can sneak into the Wild Card spot.
But at least the Mets are getting some young prospects in exchange for their pitching stars from the Marlins and Rangers. Let's face it, the Mets were too old. Last edited by cgjackson222; 07-29-2023 at 04:24 PM.
