This gang of happy baseball fans was photographed in 1923 when the House That Ruth Built was first opened for business. Purchased it from the late Jimmy Catanzaro a decade or so back.



And by popular demand . .

Well, it's the 100th anniversary year of Yankee Stadium, the House That Ruth Built after the Yankees were kicked out of the Polo Grounds. Went to a game back in May vs the Rays, and there was no mention of that milestone whatsoever anywhere in new Yankee Stadium.

Here is a plaque I modified to reflect the history better than the way it was made, and stays on topic.
