I thought of someone other than Carlton who was 12%. I don't want to give away who it is for anyone else still trying today, but there's at least one other choice.

I aced it today. My Angels/Sox guy is an infielder most associated with the mid-1960s Angels, who just happened to have a later Sox GU flannel in a Heritage auction a couple months ago. That's my clue for you.

I know of at least 2 guys, both prewar. I think the Mets is what kills you on that one. 3 guys are all pretty well known.
