I am one of the seemingly few pre-War collectors who is NOT a T206 affectionado. I do collect WaJo cards, and I do have this T206 Piedmont Factory 42 card of WaJo. However, I'm more interested in real-photo, black & white cards of WaJo, especially his 1916, 1917, and 1921-22 issues. I'm willing to trade my Piedy 42 for a black & white card of WaJo with a scarce ad back. A trade could be consummated at the Net54 dinner at the Chicago National.

Also 1917 Merchants Bakery & Weil Baking cards of WaJo. Also E222 cards of Lipe, Revelle & Ryan. |

Ted knows the 42's are near and dear to my heart. Being in NC I decided to collect these backs for both the T206 and T205 sets. One card I want to upgrade is the T205 Evers. If anyone has a 2 or better let me know.
I don't know of any new discoveries of 42's since the Tinker showed up a few years ago. I believe Ted had seen the card before but no picture had been taken. The same 4 culprits in the T206 set that were thought to be verified have yet to turn up. These names can be found in the T206 PD 42 set list. Thanks Ted for bringing up these 42's once again.

Hi Adam I really have enjoyed our wheeling-n-dealing with these PIEDMONT #42 cards over the past 14 years. Especially when you would discover a Pd #42 that was unknown. Take care, my good friend. Adam....can you send me your T205 PIEDMONT #42 check-list.... tedzan11@comcast.net TED Z T206 Reference . |

Is it just a coincidence that the T206 set has 72 subjects confirmed with the PIEDMONT #42 backs, and the
T205 set has 72 subjects confirmed with the PIEDMONT #42 backs ? Being a numbers guy, makes me think it isn't a coincidence, but dictated by factors in the printing process. TED Z T206 Reference . |
