Here https://postimg.cc/RJMvgjL4 is a photo that was used for the postcard. Looks like the same jersey, to me, sans the Sox. So Joe went shoeless and soxless, at points in his career. At first I thought it was obscured but does not appear so.

That postcard of the Sox is great. I was struck how virtually everyone in the photo is smiling and looks happy except Chick Gandel who may be plotting something for the future. He really looks like a mean hombre.

An amazing resemblance between Joe Jackson and the player sitting in the rear of the vehicle - not to mention, the irony of the team being from "Greenville."
The RPPC is postmarked 1 Aug 1909 from Greenville, Georgia - everyone knows, Jackson played for Greenville, South Carolina - however, he was living in Savannah, Georgia at the time this card was postmarked. The only difference I can really see is the length of the sideburns... Other than that, his build and all facial features are very similar... |

I know we've analyzed this one before. It is a weird coincidence.

Would be cool if it were, but I am not seeing Jax in the person in the postcard but far from an expert on that. On occasion I have not been able to id myself in a photo so there's that.
