It's 9:04 here in the East...which means it's after 8 central...but recent posts are an hour behind.

Is the auction officially over Leon??? Or am I missing something?

The part about 8:00 sharp might be a little fuzzy.

If I’m not mistaken, there are no seconds on the clock. So you could theoretically bid up until 8:00:59 or 1 second before 8:01, and it would still register as 8:00. Assuming, of course, that there isn’t a lag that pushes back the receipt of your post/bid.

Admittedly, 59 seconds isn’t much of an extended bidding window.

Dang clock goes 1 minute at a time. Very difficult indeed. And the 8pm close means there are 59 seconds left to bid at 8:00 pm CST, until....wait for it, the clock goes to 8:01pm !!

It does take some getting used to. Congrats to the winners.
