Thanks all! Not changing my sig until I have it in my hands. I thought I was going to have to spend at least twice as much to finally land one, but luck (or the market) was on my side this time.

Pleased to land this one. I’ve watched the price really start to go up on other other Athletes and non Athletes not in one of the big 4 sports (MLB,NBA,NFL,NHL). Walt Disney (with Mickey Mouse), Einstein, Pele, Marilyn Monroe, Bobby Jones, Hulk Hogan, Josh Johnson, Mike Tyson, Ali, Abraham Lincoln, and this guy Jesse Owens as many call his 1936/37 cards a rookie but this is his 1935 card and what should be his true rookie card with a very low pop.

Good points. Owens' Kings of Speed Churchmans card has always been popular. Pele has pretty much already left the barn, so to speak. His early cards are off the charts, and even the later ones are commanding good prices. The fun with him (and Ali, for that matter) is the worldwide fame.
