I can understand the hatless thing when a player gets traded during the offseason But Cater played extensively with the A's the year before his 3 hatless card run. Same scenario with the guy I'm thinking of

I don't know the answer but I've always disliked those 60's hatless cards. My guess would be Aurelio Rodriquez.
