But, of course! His sign said something to the effect of 'stunning looking singles,' so I knew before looking it was going to be a fruitless search. The hunt continues.

A recent member pickup for my 1948 Swell Sports Thrills' run.

Thanks, Tony Baldwin for a very smooth transaction. Great packaging and even follow-up to make sure I received the card.

Brent,

You're very welcome and I'm glad I could add a card needed for your PC. Great packaging and communication are always key to every successful transaction. It was a pleasure dealing with you Brent!

This is a huge white whale completed that I have been working decades on.
Everyone is familiar with the Fleer logo stickers issued 1969-1974. They did two for each team every year. Seems simple enough. But the truth is there are tons of variations. Some obvious logo changes, some color variances, and the final one I got today, a 1969 Mets round with a full dotted line. The 1969 is hard, but most have a partial solid line on the left side. This is the final variation I needed for a master set.

In all there are a total of 148 different ones. It's hard to even call this a "set" but trust me, this is a tough undertaking as most variations never show up for sale.

Congrats on closing that one out Mark, always a great feeling of satisfaction to get that last card needed.

Great work getting the master set with all those variations!

I thought of doing that but settled on the 2 patches for each team. I added the Senators and Pilots too. Got all 4 MLB Logo variations and that was it for me.

They make a nice display. Congrats again!

Mike

Nice get, Bradley.

A card that's been on my want list for a while now.

Congrats.

Thanks, Dale. I've always wanted an Aaron RC. Hopefully, I'll upgrade soon.

Dumb question, which maybe I can get answered by reading the blog - but figured someone here might be quicker: You say they were issued 1969-1974. Why do most ebay listings and checklists say 1968 - 72? Does this have to do maybe with copyrights? I notice on the Fleer Sticker Project blog they are listed actually 1969 - 77, not just '74.

Sorry I'm a pinpoint date freak for some reason with most of my collecting. I like the stickers, but am going to have to figure this out before I jump in all the way, LOL.
