If you need help, lmk!

Thanks Bill!

I believe it matches up to a game on 8-3-72 to the lineup card.

Thanks! It's been really quiet for some time as far as new pickups, but excited about this one, and just acquired a collection of 150 lineup cards from the mid 80's (most from 1984), and spent the weekend sorting through and researching and found a few cool ones.

Picked up a collection of 150 lineup cards that were from Eric Gregg and it had this gem.

Orel Hershiser's MLB debut.

Personally, I think Hershiser deserves more consideration for the Hall. He's obviously a borderline candidate, but 200+ wins, Cy Young, great Playoff pitcher (win the MVP of the NLCS and WS in 1988, was 8-3 for his career in the Playoffs and that was only because he was 0-2 in the 1997 WS). Throw in his record-setting scoreless streak, and I think he's a candidate worthy of more consideration.

Edit: No idea why the photo is sideways. Hershiser came in in relief and it is his name in black under Honeycutt.

Thanks to Jeff for this special/cool Lineup card from the 3rd game of 1996 (Jeter's rookie campaign and Mo's first appearance of the season). Originating from the umpire John Hirschbeck's personal collection.

Happy we could work something as it will go beautifully with other items in your collection!

For reasons not obvious to me, Yankee lineup cards from their most recent dynasty are exceedingly difficult to find. It seems clear that the lineup cards that Joe Torre from when he was a Yankee have not entered the market. Whether that is because he would toss them or because he still has them (or has given them to someone who does), they have been extremely difficult, and almost all the ones I have were from John Hirschbeck's personal collection.

Enjoy the lineup card. Jeter's 10th career run, and one of the first games of his career in his ROY season, and of course, the first Yankee WS win in a long time.
