Just made arrangements to pick up these three pennants, Senators, Expos and Mets. Not the greatest pics…Can anyone shed some thoughts on value?

About $60 for the trio if these are auctioned on eBay. A little more individually … I’d say $20-30 Senators, $20-35 Mets, $8-20 Expos. The Mets pennant is very cool and IMO underappreciated.

Those prices are also contingent on decent condition. If the tips are frayed, torn or missing, the prices could be lower than Greg posted. If the tips are perfect and pointy, they could go higher. I have seen the white Mets pennant in super nice condition sell between $50 - $60.

Found one I didn't even know I was looking for. Seems like a typical single bar pennant, but it's cloth. First time I know that I've seen this in cloth (may have overlooked some in the past). To me, finding things like this (variations that are not so expensive, but unique or interesting) is fun and one of the reasons why I enjoy the hobby.

I feigned lukewarm interest as you contemplated this one but I would've pounced if you passed. Would like to get the full set. It's the best version of the single bar series. I try to pick them up when I see them. Need about six more. Nice add to your collection. One interesting thing about these...They have really thick paint/ink, but it never seems to crack. You'd think it would be more susceptible due to the lack of support the cloth provides, but they hold up just fine as evidenced by yours.

Haha. That's funny. I knew I wanted one after I saw it, just could not decide how faded it was. It is not as red as similar felt single bar pennants, but the color is same front and back. So it may be uniform fading due to the dye not lasting, but at least it is not a crazy sun fade.

Look underneath the edge of the spine. My guess is that it’s the same shade of red and you have a minty pennant.

Also: check the stitch. I’m guessing that it is similar to that of your 1982 pennant. That’s how my Eagles version is. Not typical of Trench, just as the cloth spine is not. But everything else screams Trench. A guess would put it roughly between the mid-60s logo versions and the first iteration of the 1967 trademark single bars. I don’t know enough about the other teams to pin it down.

Thanks, guys. I really just wanted the Senators one but the lot was too tempting to pass up. The Mets one is a little dirty from what I can tell so I’ll be looking for some cleaning tips if you guys have any.

I think you’d be safe with Oxyclean. Put a scoop in about an inch of bathwater. Keep an eye on it.

What do we make of this? It's flocking weird (and too expensive).

Legit 1930s and maybe priced reasonably. The same batter graphic appears on other unflocked 1930s that are same size.
