Just made arrangements to pick up these three pennants, Senators, Expos and Mets. Not the greatest pics…Can anyone shed some thoughts on value?

About $60 for the trio if these are auctioned on eBay. A little more individually … I’d say $20-30 Senators, $20-35 Mets, $8-20 Expos. The Mets pennant is very cool and IMO underappreciated.

Those prices are also contingent on decent condition. If the tips are frayed, torn or missing, the prices could be lower than Greg posted. If the tips are perfect and pointy, they could go higher. I have seen the white Mets pennant in super nice condition sell between $50 - $60.

Found one I didn't even know I was looking for. Seems like a typical single bar pennant, but it's cloth. First time I know that I've seen this in cloth (may have overlooked some in the past). To me, finding things like this (variations that are not so expensive, but unique or interesting) is fun and one of the reasons why I enjoy the hobby.

Also: check the stitch. I’m guessing that it is similar to that of your 1982 pennant. That’s how my Eagles version is. Not typical of Trench, just as the cloth spine is not. But everything else screams Trench. A guess would put it roughly between the mid-60s logo versions and the first iteration of the 1967 trademark single bars. I don’t know enough about the other teams to pin it down. Last edited by thetahat; 05-11-2023 at 01:11 PM. |

I think you’d be safe with Oxyclean. Put a scoop in about an inch of bathwater. Keep an eye on it.

What do we make of this? It's flocking weird (and too expensive).
