Type I photo of Cincinnati Reds RHP Jim Maloney's 1st career no-hitter
Here is a recent Reds pickup that I really like.
This is a great action photo of Reds fireballer Jim Maloney taken during his 1st career no-hitter on August 19, 1965 @ Wrigley Field against the hometown Cubs. Ironically, Jim Maloney, up until 1991 was credited with pitching 3 career no-hitters including a 2nd one that he pitched on June 14, 1965. The ML rules that defined what was considered to be a no-hitter changed in 1991. Because Maloney's no-hitter eventually ended in the 10th inning, it was eliminated from the list of official no-hitters. Last edited by Scott Garner; 05-06-2023 at 01:09 PM.
