I have some very similar ones from 1967 advertising the Pin-Up series. I found a small stack in a collection years ago and have slowly been selling them. They are a repeating pattern and there were 3 that pretty much make the whole ad

They are definitely from 1968 because they advertise the coming of the “1968 game card inserts, set of 33 cards” in the next series
I think the game cards started in series 3 so I assume these are from series 2 packs… I am missing a little bit of the cut up repeated strip. Kind of cool that it mentions Killebrew and Campy.

Love the 1967 pin up piece ! So cool it’s in full sheet form.
I can imagine not many of these survived and kids definitely trashed them.

Last digit in the # code indicates the year made, 7 = 67, 8 = 68

I love these and have a couple, two Football ones as well. I still need at least one baseball variant. A&BC did some in the UK and Dan Dischley nicked some of the graphics for TTS starting in 1972.

They seem to have been inserted in wax packs but given how scarce they are, I can't believe they were in many packs, and no one really seems to really opening a pack and seeing these.

I suspect more are out there, especially given the catcher Dischley used along with the pitcher who appears on one of the known inserts.

I've blogged these: https://www.thetoppsarchives.com/search?q=waxy

I never knew these existed - I just snatched one of the ones listed on eBay from '67. If anyone knows of a '68 being available, please let me know.

I have never seen them before. They didn't come in any of the packs that I opened.

Me either. It's also kind of odd that they advertise stealing home with Bert Campaneris in the upcoming series of game cards when in fact he was not part of the set. I wonder if he refused or withdrew his permission at some point.
