I would love to add an exhibit one day and the other three Goudey's. Not sure how realistic that actaully will ever be though.

Not even sure what this is or the value. But this would be my favorite.

You guys have such amazing Ruth cards! I actually have a couple worthless favorites, and even though there are really nice ones here and out there, nothing I really "have to have" .

When I was 10, I opened some 1972 Topps and got an Indians team card. One of my friends would sometimes offer me cards out of his brother's cigar box as trade bait. He was a Yankees collector and I'm sure I was offered my share of Mantles. I had no idea who Mantle was. I got a Babe Ruth card for my Indians card. Years later I replaced the precious card with one in about the same shape.img177.jpg

Years later I stumbled onto 1962 Venezuelan Ruths. They're not worth much and always in rough shape, but I like this one. By the SGC Report, there's a total of 10 graded. One 3 and One 4 and none better. There's a total of 28 graded at PSA, four 3s and 5 better, nothing better than the one 5.

I know there's no demand so no value, but I still like the pose and the story on back.

Cuban tobacco premium, late 20s. Part of a series of athletes and celebs. Value could only be determined by auction.

Recently picked up this interesting piece. Newspaper cutout puzzle form circa 1933…

Seller thought it was from the 1940s, but the other puzzle he had was of Hitler and referenced him as chancellor (became chancellor of Germany in 1933 and then took the title of Fuhrer in 1934), so I’m guessing ca. 1933.

And here’s the solution in the paper the next day. Lucky that he had both items. Never seen one before.
