I met an old man that had a selection of these. I couldn't decide which one so I just picked up all of them. Too far?

Chris showed me the Cobb Proof the other day. It's hands-down the most significant Proof found to date. Just stunning, and hugely important.

What a way to start the month Chris, congrats, amazing card.

1911 H998 Western Playground.

Member trade, thank you Val.

What I really appreciate about this community is the willingness to work with each other to build our collections, doesn't always happen but its nice to see when the right cards find the right homes.

Nice, I couldn't figure out how to get a good picture of this. I put it on my computer screen so the light could shine through this amazing acetate Red Cobb that arrived today.

Well been a long time since I could post an update to this in here

1924 Diaz Cigarettes Cleveland subset from 12/15 to 13/15

Also picked up a Dewey Metivier where his misspelled name isn't also half eaten

Down to 2...let's go Guy Morton and Pete Donohue (and maybe a non destroyed By Speece and Joe Shaute as well)

Thank you all

I know Morton is out there somewhere, he was graded with one of the early Diaz batches but was sold before the rest made it to Goodwin.

I've only seen one Donohue and it was rough. Was a picture on an old Cuban card site

Though interestingly enough, there's another Joe Shaute out there now, ran into the picture by accident. Someone seems to be compiling a virtual Diaz set website

By Speece, well the 1924 Senators are Val's baby so hopefully a 3rd's floating about somewhere

Nice corners, crease free, no print lines, no wax on back. It appears the card sat in an old time photo album with 4 corners protecting the card and it's corners. The result was a uniform light browning along the edges on the back. I’m thinking of sending it to PSA for review, wondering if it would be worth it.

What is the 2 spots/marks beside the power pole behind Mickey? That would be my guess for the 2.

Looks like a tiny stain of some sort, either that or the back could be the reason I’m assuming
