True Scott, but that Evers does have extra thick borders. Still a lot of the high graded T206 cards seem to have 1/3rd of this size border.

And thinking about this from a different perspective, how many nicer raw T206 cards still have borders like this...

Does it? I question that.

To me this is what an ideal T206 looks like. I'd take this over a narrow or short 8 every day of the week.

The majority of unaltered T206 cards have borders that look closer to this Flanagan below. The Evers shown is just at the far end of the unaltered T206 size spectrum. And I agree, this spectacular looking Mr. Evers would definitely by my choice over anything that has been slenderized to graded perfection.

If the holders are made to fit the listed card size, and I have no reason to think they're not, the Evers is actually slightly short top to bottom.

T206s, as we all know, had a lot of different cuts to them. So, the holders are going to be a bit off on a lot of them.

From the BST, thanks Tony!

If you do a simple search you’ll see most Bob Grooms Have large borders and most Chief Meyers green have narrow borders - not all but most - I picked up a Groom Howe McCormick that’s also physically larger than any of my other T206

And sometimes with PSA the holders are way off on them.

I like how Mitchell is showing off his individuality by leaning the other direction.

Think about this - why don't you see many high grade jumbo cards?

1 - Most jumbos are not high grade because they are a true representation of a cards condition that has not been trimmed.

2 - Many jumbo cards have been trimmed down to get that higher grade and the TPGs just do a poor job of catching trimmed cards.
