Glad to have finally added an N172 of Charlie Ganzel (thanks, Jay!
 ). Ganzel remained in the Boston area after his retirement from the Beaneaters in 1897. He remained very close to the game in various ways: playing for several local semipro teams, umpiring, and coaching the baseball team of my alma mater, Williams College. He guided the team to a couple of championships around the turn of the 20th Century. Somewhat oddly, he appears in two of the college team yearbook photos in two versions of his old Boston uniform.

I just picked up another w516-1 Becker Prize Back card and I'm very excited about it. It's another dupe for me, but I pick these up whenever I see them at a fair price. I love these things.
