I figured by the title someone was going deep into their pocket to buy a card(s). That's the spouse test I usually try to avoid.

LOL, nope! This thread really resulted from a conversation that I had with my wife as she stood by watching the last few minutes of a Nolan Ryan documentary (when the Big Unit was being interviewed)!

Lots of spouses with good recall of nicknames, some a lot more obscure than others. But still lots of LOL-entries and perhaps more "gold" to be mined!
