No idea. I sold it to a gentleman back East that was going to use it in one of his breaks as a prize or something like that. I don't recall his name, but he spoke like I should have recognized him as he thought he was some type of celebrity or something. I don't know, as I didn't try to keep up with it. All I know is he paid immediately and I shipped it to him. I never heard from him again.

I don't think I will ever own another and sure do miss this card. I wish I had it back, but needed the cash at the time for a remodel I was doing.

Here's a picture of the back. It had a little paper loss on the back, but was a sweet card overall.

Also I've included a picture of the 53 that was graded at the same time. I still have it.

Bought it in the late, 90's - for $75.
Sold it a while back for $625.

Still wish I had it though.

Looks like an upscale version of the one I still own Ben. I like to brag that I can readily identify the back as a Piedmont.

I try not to dwell on my exes, a lot of them have been used to fund my current loves. Here are three former cards that don't come up very often.

Leon, I remember your incredible auction well, having won the Davis Croft Red. As I recall, it was in aid of tuition aid for your college-bound daughter, a noble cause. Your collection was fabulous, and we at Net54 are grateful you stayed in the hobby and are rebuilding.

I have to go now. I have a lump in my throat.

All of them were Leon's - the entire auction! Leon had a fantastic type collection that I loved viewing online (still do on occasion). I won several cards from this auction, but wish I had won several more.
