Coming from somebody who doesn't collect or know anything about coins. I've always loved the Sacagawea Dollar.

I know it's modern so probably not a very popular choice for most.

Gold is always cool.

I really like the 20 cent piece
3 cent piece (silver) tiny little buggers
Half dimes
Fugio cent

And the one I like the most are the silver trade dollars with chop marks. So freaking cool if you ask me.

With a hat tip to the inverse Indian headed gold coins. The inverse is really a neat design.

In addition to the ones Peter mentioned, I'm partial to the Seated Liberty quarter, half dollar and dollar.

Dangit Peter; this thread is making me want to go buy a Double Eagle!

I put together a type set set. The 1, 2.5 and five gold were relatively easy. The 10 and 20, are out of reach now.

Standing Liberty Quarters
$10 Indian
$20 St. Guadens
Walking Liberty Half Dollar
$10 Draped Bust Right-Large Eagle
Interesting that the Draped Bust coins have the arrows in the right eagle talon and the olive branch of peace in the left talon.

I also know nothing about coins. I also like the small dollar coins like the Sacagawea and Susan B Anthony coins. My favorite is the Ben Franklin 50 cent piece.
