Not so much a pick up as a "just got it back". i had won a Sandy Koufax signed home plate in an auction a while back. I had the idea of getting renown sports artist Gregg Packer to add his talent to it. we talked for quite a bit about ideas and I finally got it back. I love his work.

I’m a Dodger hater, so I wouldn’t know, but did Koufax throw a no-hitter where his own team only managed one hit? Who was the unlucky LP?

The one hit had nothing to do with the only run the Dodgers scored, so had Bob Hendley thrown a no-hitter that day, he still would have lost to the perfect game that Koufax threw.

Here are some of my recent pickups in the New Year. A few 19th century items including a score card from the Terre Haute baseball team which features some big leaguers, a lineup card from the Paris Reds team in 1886, and a nice figure 8 baseball. Also picked up a 1934 Greensburg Trojans team photo which features some big leaguers. Last but not least, one of my all time favorites to collect...a J.F. Hillerich & Son bat.
