If you think about where he had to place his hand to sign in that spot (with the plastic bubble underneath), it's no wonder that the signature shows some differences from a typical 'flat' item signature.

Thankfully, he didn't sign the plastic itself, which is a loathsome sight whenever encountered. It's akin to signing a top loader to me. The only other place he could have signed it nicely was along the top, above the right hand side of the plastic, but that infuriating price tag was in the way.
