If that happens, then PSA has ruled that PSA did nothing wrong and the facts don't matter. So nothing unusual.

Is it possible that this Ruth example is the "plate" card that Fritsch used to make his reprints? Just trying to spice up this thread a little.

How much is a real Ruth strip card like that worth in the same condition as the encapsulated reprint?

If a card is submitted to PSA and it is deemed a reprint, does PSA charge some type of examination fee to the submitter? I haven't submitted to either PSA or SGC in a LONG time and when I was submitting cards, I never had one returned as being not authentic/reprint.

You still pay the grading fee even if the card is not authentic.

The blue text/border is pretty much a give away on it

The paper stock should have gave it away for anyone who has seen one before. This continues to show how bottom of the barrel the new hires are getting.
