Gary, that is an amazing pick up. K is a great guy. That PC is perfect for your collection. Congrats. W601 PCs are real tough. I picked these two up recently and would like to get others if/when one (rarely) comes up

This one has four graded by PSA; the NY Highlanders one has five.

In a related, but easier vein, I finally got a 1908 Reach Guide that has a 1907 NYAL team composite that I do not believe was used in other than the Guide. I bought it because it included Frank Kitson and checked a box on my wantlist. He played 12 games from late May to late July.

As Ryan said earlier, these are tough and you do not see them coming up for auction/sale all that often. Have one of these myself, buried somewhere, and they are great. Fantastic pickup and great add to any collection.

Gary - great postcard. Fits perfectly in your collection.

Buzz - the Reach guides are great collectibles with tons of awesome images. The image of the 1907 team would have also been used in The Sporting Life's 1908 set of W601 supplements.

I also think that that it was on the front cover of one of The Sporting Life's weekly magazines at the time.

Kevin

That makes a lot of sense, but I have yet seen any image of either the PC or cover to verify it. Maybe someone on the board can post a scan.
