I though the NFT thing collapsed when that guy who spent buckets of money on the weird looking monkey drawings couldn't make his money back?

It collapsed in the sense that the million dollar monkey pictures aren’t so high anymore, but there are plenty of people still paying hundreds of dollars for these things. The most massive part of the hype train is gone but it hasn’t wiped out completely.

As to why that is, I cannot help . None of this makes anymore sense to me than draining 401K’s to yolo on baseball cards.

Yeah, I don't get it either. Hundreds for an online picture....

Haven't they heard of right click/save picture as.....
Or if the website has right click disabled.... ALT Print screen, then paste into pretty much anything.

LOL, I agree on most things being beyond silly to pay for a digital picture of. Also the amount of money paid for the pictures are outrageous.

On a totally I get it and would pay decent money for a picture side. I like nice watches and some extremely high end watches never get to even be seen by us normal people. I know someone who has an insane watch collection was thinking about doing NTFs of the best of the best. Not sure if it ever happened though.
