Off the top of my head, that would be my guess as well. A quick search of VCP shows a PSA 5 selling for $7,170 at the end of 2012 and $1,032,000 in July of 2021, an increase of 144X or 14,400%.

This card may have backed off a bit since then, but it has obviously seen a spectacular increase in price. Even examples in PSA 2 range have increased ~ 40X from around $2,500 to $100,000 in the last 10 years.

The Mighty T206 Wagner has only increased 7.78x since 2013: a PSA 1 Sold for $402,900 in May 2013 vs the same exact card selling for $3,136,500 sale in March of 2022

The PSA 3, 1921 Exhibits Ruth is up 21.5x since 2013 -- $950 in 2013 vs $20,400 most recent sale in 2022

Clearly neither of these are the winners, but I think the further the narrative that cards are solid investments and those owning cards in 2013 have done VERY well in the last ten years if they did not sell

Those are great cards, but they have not increased in value even close to the amount that the 1925 Exhibits of Gehrig has.
