Even though the card didn't get to the $1.5M that SCP estimated it was worth, I still think it is a small win for CSG and SCP.
The card is beautiful and is a great posterchild for CSG and to a lesser extent SCP. SCP is already plastering the results of the sale on all their marketing materials. By the way, I think that SCP saying it was worth $1.5M was a good strategy. It set expectations that were almost reached. If the sale is legit, then it is a huge win for the consigner as the hammer price was WAY more than it would have been if sold as a PSA 7.5 Last edited by cgjackson222; 12-12-2022 at 03:39 PM.
