Re: I was bidding on a Heritage auction Item and my $550 bid turned into $525,500...
Did the same thing in a Weiss auction a while ago. They were very gracious about fixing it. I did sweat profusely for a few moments, though.

Unless it's stated in their terms otherwise, an auction company HAS to accept a bid retraction until the hammer falls.
