Anyone else notice a remarkable similarity to Game 6 of the 2020 WS when Cash pulled Snell after 5 1/3 and Nick Anderson promptly blew the game?
I know in both cases they were looking at matchups, but IMO Wheeler was rolling....the intentional HBP by Maldonado and the weak single up the middle by Peña was all he gave up.

 October 8th, 1956....I was a young kid then (played hooky) and saw this entire World Series game 5 on our small Admiral TV. Don Larsen was amazing. And, so was Mickey Mantle that day. Furthermore, you have to credit Casey Stengel for having the confidence in Larsen. Unlike these Manager's in Baseball nowadays. TED Z T206 Reference .
