3 biggies in Mathews, Wilhelm and Campy and the other 2 in Bob Cain and Bob Schultz, Ben.
Cain and Schultz are still doable someday but I'm unsure if those other 3 ever will be as all 3 command big money as you know.

I've been after this one for a while. Nice to finally find the right example for my collection.

I miss my Eddie, it's one of the few cards I miss after trading. Best of luck finding some lower grade nice eye appeal cards.

Picked this up from eBay last week. I'm putting together a run of Steve Carlton cards from 1965 - 1980. At this point, I'm still hunting for '68, '69, and '72 Cardinals.

Pretty fired up about this one. 1,100+ Zeenuts from original family in California. 25 still have the coupons. Condition all over the board but still a nice find.

Very nice. Carlton is a ridiculously underrated pitcher in his time if you look at his accomplishments.

Even among pitchers, Lefty gets overlooked. His decade-plus media silence kept him largely out of the spotlight. As difficult as it for some people to imagine, Steve Carlton flatly refused to give interviews. This likely diminished his popularity outside of Philadelphia. Lucky for me, I grew up in Philly during Carlton's time there. Candidly, I don't want people to look at his accomplishments more closely...at least, not until after I've finished this little run. ![]()

Yeah at some point in 1973, after his amazing '72 unanimous Cy Young season - he got pissed at the media and just decided to flat quit talking to them. Imagine how much more popular he would have been had the press been in his court for most of his career?
