So I posted it in a thread and then the fireworks started. Seller was kicked off Net54. My thread was paired with another thread on the same day that provided huge entertainment on Net54. The other thread turned into a roast and lots of memes.

I wish I could recall the other thread. It had to do with listing Mantles? (53T maybe) for exorbitant prices by a brand new member. Usual "I know how much my cards are worth." Some more experienced Net54 members tried to kindly tell him how much the cards should sell for, because many of us were interested - they were nice cards. But unlike spam threads where the OP never posts again, the OP responded with "OK Boomer." And then the memes started flooding in. That was a funny one. I worked until midnight on the weekends with no authentic work past 10pm. that was the highlight of the night. ROFLMAO.

What is everyone's opinion on SGC? Better than PSA? There ARE certain aspects about them that I like.

I like both but I prefer PSA right now. I don't like the Tuxedo black as much as many others, especially because it shows scuffs and scratches on the holder more prominently and I have had several cards get stuck under the black insert.

That being said having a $1500 value limit for their lowest tier, and ability to submit multiple sized cards in the same order are a huge advantage and why I still use them sometimes.

The fact that they still charge $100 minimum (unless it was updated with the new prices) for an oversized holder, and full grading prices for reholders are a huge downside.

I also have a handful of cards for your next PSA vintage sub.

Justin...my PSA membership runs out in 2 weeks. I was toying with the idea of not renewing. Crazy, huh? I have been a member for 14 years. I dunno....as much as I love the hobby, I am not too thrilled about the direction it is taking.

My biggest likes are that the holder looks so much nicer than the others and their grading in my opinion is way more accurate.

The bad is that beautiful holder is a POS. I find it harder to get a good picture of cards in their slab because of glare and if you just look at it too long it might leave a mark/scratch in the holder.
