It was a 30 k card three years ago. If it had gone steadily higher since then to 180 k today, everyone would only be talking about how amazing today's price is.

But 30 k to a huge (impossible to last) mania bubble of 300-500 k to 180 k, and it's seen like a horrible market failure.

i think the Godfather of Soul summed it up perfectly:

But you miss so much you wish you could get

Most of us don't have a PSA 10 Jordan/
But we wish we did so we could have cashed in.
