Today I finished the rainbow for my Rabbit Maranville collection. The final pickup was the green, with all matches intact. My favorite things about the 1934 Diamond Matchbooks are the large checklist and nice little bio write ups.

Congrats, those look great.

And you forget one other possible favorite thing. They typically don't cost an arm and a leg to afford them!

I'm still adding to my Diamond Matchbook collection. 30 more arrived in the mail today. I was really pleased to add Hank Gowdy.

Gowdy is an underappreciated player of the era. The hero of the 1914 Miracle Boston Braves. He's not in the HoF despite being on the ballot 17 times.
