Based on the number of people I see running outside in the first week of January, I'd wager that most people get a decent start. Of course, by the first week of February, those crowds are thinned pretty dramatically.

Having been to many card shows, I suspect most card collectors don’t make it beyond January 3rd at the most

The Frisingers purchased $43,000+ of sportscards from a guy at an antique mall that were supposedly worth $200,000…..?

If I am reading that correctly, they deserved each other. They both intended to rip one another off IMHO. Who believes the guy at the local antique mall is nice enough to give them a $157,000 discount?

I think that's a good example of your favorite saying "Caveat emptor", or buyer beware. Which goes hand in hand with "if seems too good to be true, it probably is". Unfortunately.
