I thought this part was odd/funny.
"Mr. Kennert acknowledged he felt very sorry about his past mistakes," his lawyer wrote in a sentencing memo. Kennert told agents he had decided to stop committing crimes. "He had a morale change, and he burned most of the counterfeit items from China," his lawyer wrote. I think they mean "moral" change. Although I'm sure his morale is worse after being arrested. And I think burning the counterfeit items is called "covering your trail". ![]() ![]() |
