My experience is all electronic forms of payment can be reversed. You have zero guarantees.
If it were me…. I would list it on ebay and have the buyer purchase it there with their account. At a minimum you know you are dealing with the same account holder….. if the account hasn’t been hacked…. |

Good and Services Protects the Buyer Not Seller....a lot of great people out there but also a lot scammers out there. Best bet is if you’re selling through the Mail get collect insure dealer policy. They require signature confirmation and priority.

In the Good and Services transaction overview, there's a section to manually input the tracking number of your package. It's easy to overlook, but I suggest you do that if you have concerns about your transaction.
That's the best way to protect yourself. Package says it's been delivered, that's about the best you can do on any platform to protect yourself. That and the hint of legal action or "filing a stolen package report" with the police, if they threaten to stiff you on a package that shows as "delivered". I've had Ebay back me up before when a package has shown as delivered. Odd thing is, I have websites, occasionally sell on Net54 and have probably had thousands of non-Ebay Paypal transactions over the years, and I don't think I've ever had anybody test me on a package that has shown as delivered outside of Ebay (fingers crossed), to even know how Paypal would deal with something like that. |

That's good to know. I do have a Collectibles Insurance policy, but I had forgotten about the stipulation on signature confirmation.

Also make sure you never click the box at the post office that says electronic signature accepted. Never.
